Honors Classes
- English (ELA), Math, Social Science & Science
- Honors classes develop and strengthen critical thinking skills for the 21st century that enable them to be successful in Honors and AP classes at the high school level and beyond. The Honors level course is a rigorous endeavor most appropriate for highly motivated and responsible students whose academic abilities and talents allow for faster pace and greater in-depth instruction. Honors classes follow district curriculum framework; however, the enhanced curriculum provides for the differentiation in the level of analysis and utilization of information. The course will require additional reading, research, essays, presentations, projects, and formative and summative assessments.
